Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live. Because of generous donor support, St. Jude can provide children cutting-edge treatments not covered by insurance, at no cost to families.
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and they won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.
HOW THE DREAM HOME SHOWPLACE HELPS CHILDREN...
The St. Jude Dream Home® Showplace is a community-driven fundraising initiative supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® and its mission: Finding cures. Saving children®.
Halquist Stone, together with Tim O'Brien Homes and the support of the public, contributes by donating the funds, materials, and services necessary to build the home. When the home is sold, 100% of the proceeds will go directly to St. Jude, ensuring that more children get the medical care they need to overcome cancer and life-threatening illness. This is more than a house; it’s a powerful step towards a brighter, healthier future for children everywhere. The sale of the 2025 Dream Home in Menomonee Falls resulted in a $1,000,000.15 donation to the hospital.
